Even a 5 isn't so good because he could easily have 78. I think I'd rather see a J. I didn't want to go for a c/r because UTG was too passive to bet if he missed, and I didn't want to give free cards. Granted there's no need to really care too much about this pot, but I still figured my pair was worth a value-bet. |

My line here is usually to call the raise and then bet out the turn, fold to a raise.
