Hand 1: Against this villian I'd make it 125 on the turn, and then push the river. Often villians who are a) dumb and b) express their dumbness by betting small then calling a raise have trouble folding subsequent streets because they convince themselves that you were only betting into their 'weakness'. Nothing is better than having abig hand when one of these guys small bets you. But I thought you played the hand fine.

And yeah hand 2 you definitely just call the bet. And then call any further bet even if the board pairs, against that villian.

Id also add that the reason i wouldnt make it more than 125 for hand 1 turn c/r is that then effective stacks on the river will be such that it will be obvious that you would have no f/e if he called the turn c/r. And then there's more chance he'll fold 2nd best hands, conversely, even tho your river push is smaller.
