Re: Anybody else have a worthless pokerroom WPT qualifier final ticket

I am here and new but I have no reason to lie. I am Debby X on Pokerroom.
I joined two plus two so I could talk about my problem.
It took a while for them to decide and let me know but I am grateful for the decision they made.

Hi I emailed and called about 6 times before I got the answer but it was worth waiting for.

There is so much competition out there now for internet
players. It seems to make sense to keep good reputations
in this well-connected community of players.
People talk about these things in the live casinos as well.
I don't know if my post on two plus two helped the decision or not. I always felt good about them before, especially because they have an actual phone number instead of just email support.

welcome to the forum Deb

Isn't it strange that these last 3 messages of yours are all the 6th message, I wonder why that happens...

Maybe my friend Sniper will snoop out this message and answer for us...

The OP may be legit, but this whole thread sure sounds like a shill for pokerroom. The OP was even a brand new 2+2 account.

at least an effort is being made

Hopefully, they'll increase the rake again to compensate for the effort. I mean the money's gotta come from somewhere!

Or maybe they will make more gimmick accounts to reply to their thread? Still looks fishy to me...

FWIW -- I can vouch for the authenticity and integrity of the OP and the OP'er. And I am not a newbie to the community.

I would like to believe that 2+2 and this forum had some influence on the decisionmakers in this matter. Gives me a feeling of empowerment about the 2+2 community. OTOH, I told the OP'er that her most likely outcome (before resorting to 2+2) was credit toward a different super satellite event, so the actual outcome was better, but not that different from that for her.

As for the comments on the rake and rakes on online poker sites in general . . . I see no reason that online rakes exceed $1/hand except that B&M cardrooms have to charge more to cover overhead like dealer salaries and benefits. Maybe as the online player pool dies out, the onlines will see the light (take a dollar, take a dime, take ten bucks -- deal enough hands and you will get it all eventually)!

Go play on the site and see for yourself or don't! It's very friendly.

I have a $40+4 ticket that I emailed support about 4 days ago that I wanted to cash in, but not a single reply. They could have at least sent a single email back with the simple answer of "No!"
