I strongly disagree with this advice.

Here's the simple reason why. If Poker Player Joe cannot beat the very bad opponents at limit a/b, then he will not be able to beat the much better opponents at a higher level. The idea that "they will respect my raises" is just a very terrible conception.

I think you need to stick with a fixed limit game and use your remaining BR to get out of your swing. 20 Buyins in NL to a new player isnt much. If you're in a downswing it will affect your play, also dont move to NL just because limit isnt treating you well at the moment. A lot of players prefer limit to no limit and depend on it to make a living.

I also think you should post some hands from your bad run. You may just be misplaying hands that you thought were player correctly.

i suggest you play the 10$ buyins to get comfortable with
post /read lotta 2+2 and really just wait for good cards and bet aggresively. that's all it takes to win SSNL.

If you assume it's like yen.... then

27,000 Japanese yen = 245.43216 U.S. dollars

It could be a bad run.
