7 seat calls the the 1 seats turn raise with pair of 8s and then hits his money card on the river, another 8, and calls? Cali limit games are so donktastic it's awesome.

There were 7.5 BBs on the turn and it was two to call. EPS is about 9.5 by showdown.

9.5 x 8 outs = 76
38 non-outs x 2 BBs= 76

It's about EV neutral. If you discount because of flush draw (I wouldn't because of the action so far) and rake, it's a fold.

Classic error. Never fold to one bet with a large pot (though I don't know how large that pot was. Had to be 7-1 at least.
