F*** you Joe Buck.

That ball clearly hit the dirt before he caught it.

They can't give props to my boy Buehrle for throwing a complete game victory.

Is there a difference between calling the third strike and calling the out. What specifically was signaled.

As to whether the ball hit the ground, it definitely bounced upward. I dont know if it hit the ground, but it was closer than the broadcasters made it out to be.

Home plate ump raises his right hand to signify strike, then raises his right arm to signify the hitter/runner is out. You CANNOT expect the defense to not be trotting off the field after you call the batter/runner out, and you absolutely CANNOT give him that base, regardless of whether the ball hit the dirt or not. Horrible, horible, horrible.

That said, I'm really glad the White Sox won. [censored] the Angels.

If I'm Soscia I would've protested. Not for the fact that the third strike wasn't dropped (missed judgement calls happen), but because the umpire signaled out so the Angels come off the field.

Clearly? Clearly???? He clearly caught the ball, I'm not sure what game you were watching.

Furthermore, the homeplate umpire initially ruled the batter out. This is a travesty.
