fletcher,

since you said you played with me and regularly beat the high stakes casino games it is almost certain i will remember you or know about you. so PM me your real name. i will not post it but will give credence to your claim of being a wcp if you are. if you are not i will not embarass you by saying so.

but i can assure you the wcp that i know are beating the online games at the major sites for the kind of money expected of them.

i cannot believe any wcp player would lose over many hours at 15, 30. unless he isnt good enough to adjust to the different game play on the screen. it is not fixed.

your move my friend.

Hi Ray,

I appreciate your insights, and I always liked you, but I will not reveal my true identity--to you or anyone. I guess I'll just have to go down in history as the only WCP in the world who doesn't win online. Well, at least I admit to not being able to beat it--unlike many others who never lose.

I have a question for MicroBob since he is killing the online 15 games. How much did you make last year, if you don't mind my asking. I know it's none of my business, but I'm just a little bit curious what an expert can make playing 15 hold'em online? You don't mind saying, do you?

First day back in the trenches +3200 playing 100 stud. On day two I lost 1200 playing 80 hold'em--and so it goes.

Ciao

I cant say how B&M is, we dont have such games here. But i played for years live backgammon and many of the players move to poker. Not any win BIG online, but i dont know a single person that lose. Guess the problem online is that you have a worldwide competition winners stay on the side losers leave........and i am not surprised if i have to go earlier or later..........the competition will be tougher any week

This post would have been more useful if you said what your strengths are: math, reading people, etc. There's a huge difference in live and online because live you often sit with the same players for hours and you can read some or all of those people by their body language. There's no body language online, there's players jumping in and out of your table all the time which is not as obvious as someone physically standing up and leaving like B&M games. Since you say you are great live and bad online, I have to think your strength is in reading people and that strength is gone online.

You're an idiot. You're not going down in history because you're an anonymous nobody who didn't reveal his identity and obviously is no world class player.

I am a bad player. I don't play 15/30. But I am smart enough to figure out that if a good player 4-tables 15/30, they likely can win at least 1.5BB/100. I also can figure out that said player will likely get around 225 hands/hr if they play full ring. I can then pull out my $12 calculator and do a little simple math and figure that this is about $67.50/hour. I can then assume if said good player "works" 35hr/wk for 45 weeks he will make $106,312.5. IMO of all the things that you have said, nothing discredits your claim to be a WCP than your inability to do this simple calcualtion. Although refusing to reveal yourself to Ray is a close second. Please go away.

Re: World Class Player Reveals Secrets

Fletch-- out of curiousity, are you using any software to track your results. What about Pokertracker and any Heads Up displays to get information about your opponents. I think one of the big adjustments from B&M and online, in addition to there being a lack of physical tells, is the speed with which you must make decisions-- especially if you multi-table. In addition, while you may have no physical tells, you may have online tells, in the form of predictable plays and pauses etc.

Although I don't play at your kinda stakes, and I now play WAY more PL08 than Holdem (I can't stand limit for either game) I can tell you that using pokertracker makes a big difference in my results. Without this type of software it is virtually impossible to multi-table and have any real evaluation on the other players you are playing with-- who come and go with far greater frequency than in B&M play. Are you doing everything you can to track and spot the fish? Because they are where the money is, just like in B&M play.

Kings in this game--beat. OK, now aces in this game--beat. Okay, now queens in this game--beat. And on and on and on.

A WCP would know that this happens and uunderstande variance. You seem to think it is an anomaly. Again, please go away.

fletcher,

A wcp would know precisely why he is or isn't winning. Less than an wcp would also know.
