I wouldn't give more than 4 or 5 to 1 on it.

How can you be only giving 4 for the playoffs if that's what big sportsbooks are taking for winning the AL East division? Not only are you not giving anything for the wild card, you're worse in that you're charging juice and I can't trust you to pay!

Seems like you know nothing about odds calculation.

I have a lot of faith in the Yankees, but not near unlimited faith.

I hope that they win it all every year. Does it happen? No.

No, he's wrong because he made a bad statement, and he won't retract it.

Did you ever retract a single one of your moronic "Syracuse will win the NCAA's" comments?

Will Torre last until the All Star break?

BALTIMORE (AP) -- George Steinbrenner is tired of waiting for his New York Yankees to get going.

Now he's angry.

Miguel Tejada hit his eighth career grand slam, and the Baltimore Orioles roughed up Kevin Brown and completed a three-game sweep of New York with an 8-4 victory Sunday. The last-place Yankees (4-8) have dropped four straight and eight of 10 overall.

"Enough is enough. I am bitterly disappointed as I'm sure all Yankee fans are by the lack of performance by our team," Steinbrenner said in a statement issued immediately after the game.

"It is unbelievable to me that the highest-paid team in baseball would start the season in such a deep funk. They are not playing like true Yankees. They have the talent to win and they are not winning. I expect Joe Torre, his complete coaching staff and the team to turn this around."

Ni han Sir. Durr.

I was joking when I said that Syracuse was guaranteed to win the NCAAs, and I said as much in that thread.

What I did say was this: I think that Syracuse has a good chance to win the championship, at least better than 28 to 1.

Dead,

I was just messing around, bro - lighten up.

I hate the Yankees with the burning passion of 1000 suns, but even I know that they're probably going to make the playoffs (as happy as it would make me to see them fail horribly).

This thread just got really really lame with you and jesus going at it, and never actually doing anything at all...
