[ QUOTE ]
It's an equivocation to think there is any connection between the truth that science seeks and the truth that religion seeks. Besides, most religions are about salvation or variations of that.

[/ QUOTE ]

The scientist, in our day, sees the world and attempts to understand. In this understanding it works from within.

The Christian Religion seeks Christ in this very same world which is from within.

To the Christian: Do you really believe the Christ would toss off scientists like some usless piece of flotsam?

To the Christian: Do you really believe the external world is not your work?

To the scientist: Do you really believe your inner life is not connected with your field of external study?

It's not "feel good", its actual happening.

The easiest answer is this:

If such procedure ever proves to be possible you kind of disprove the idea of a soul and therefor the question is moot.

I think cloning is going down this path to.

Re: A Question for Christians

It's hard to "kind of" disprove something. Either it is disproved or it isn't.

How would this experiment have any bearing on whether we have souls? The faliure to transfer consciousness between bodies would disprove the idea that consciousness lies in the brain, and this would lend a lot of credence to belief in souls, but neither success or failure could prove or disprove the existence of souls.
