View Full Version : Poker Rehab Assignment

I used to play a lot of poker (15ish hours/week) but lately, I haven't had the time and now play less than 10 hours/month and it's definitely hurt my game.

My last two sessions were both pretty big losers. Looking back, the cards I got were below average, but not terrible; my opponents were generally ok, but not great; and my decision making totally sucked.

Consequently, I'm demoting myself from 10/20 all the way back to the .50/1.00 tables for some remedial poker and am going to force myself to work my way back up through the ranks once again.

The rules:
1. I only get a $69 bankroll (because anything that starts with 69 has to be good right?)
2. Limit play only
3. I can't bump up to the next higher limit until I hit a predetermined $ amount of winnings.
4. No multi-tabling
5. No tournaments

Where do you think I should set the thresholds for moving back up in limits?

Search posts by JasonHold'em, he has run this same process as have several others (apologies to the others, Jason came to mind).

Don't move up to 1-2 until you've made $500 at .5-1.
