how is it calucated?
I believe its the number of BB you have won over a 100hand span...like if your playing $1/$2 and you win $20 in 100hands than your BB/100 would be 10BB/100hands...

And like any average it means alot more over a larger sample size.
AKA having a win rate of 2 BB/100 over 1000 hands does nto mean much, having that same 2 BB/100 win rate over 10,000 means alot more, having that 2 BB/100 win rate over 100,000 means a great deal.
following on from this question, if i may.
is this the profit per hands, or the number of hands won?
ie if i always played on a $1/£2 table and my bb was 3/100, is that me saying that per 100 hands i tend to win $103 IN TOTAL????
correction to my last post. It should of read:
ie if i always played on a $1/£2 table and my bb was 3/100, is that me saying that per 100 hands i tend to win $106 IN TOTAL????
sorry, i'm confused... you'd be winning ($6 - although you mixed pounds and dollars). you say $106 but are you considering $100 as your bankroll??? .... i think you know the right answer just not expressing it properly. but yeah, you win 3 big bets an hour so 3x$2 per hour winning.
