This is the best Satallite view of the entire planet yet - you gotta see this:

Yeah, pretty sweet. Kinda neat how they integrated it with google maps as well.

But, they bought it from keyhole. They deserve credit /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Is it just me or has the resolution on GE gone to hell lately? When I first found this a month or so ago, I could zoom in and even see individual cars. Now I can't see a damn thing when zoomed in, even in major cities.

Can you PM me? We need to arrange for you to pay me for the 5 hours of my life you took by creating this post.

P.S. Free rakeback for the first one to spot the WMDs!

I hear ya, exploring the far corners of the earth can be time consuming. btw what a WMD?

LOL... where have you been hiding?? Perhaps with the damn WMDs /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Weapon(s) of Mass Destruction

Oh thoose WMDs, ha - thanks.

btw the pictures seem top be from at least a few years back.
When I zoomed in on my house the cars were parked the way we parked them before we (wife) switched cars and she always parks in the driveway and me on the street.

Also the huge oak tree is still in our backyard in GE - that tree is long gone now since a hurricane knocked it down a while ago.

I'm sure the WMDs are there somewhere though!
