View Full Version : How to Play this Better

Another one of my "first hand of the tournament" posts. I think I raise more before the flop (80 or 90), check the flop and bet the pot on the turn? Was pushing the river ok (converter misses this, I push and he calls), or overly enthusiastic? I don't think there were major errors here, but I think I need to raise more PF, and either bet the pot on the flop or check.

I probably would have overbet (pushed) the turn. Otherwise, looks good.

Yeah, poor planning on my part. Didnt' realize I'd be betting 340 into a 900 chip pot. Looked/felt really akward. Thanks!

I raise more pf. For 3 limpers, that's at least a raise to t90, I think I make it a round t100.

I definitely half-pot the flop, or 2/3 it.

There's t300 in the pot, you've got t650 behind, whole slew of awful of river cards...
