Default 10+1 stakes tournys

I see most of you play nl sngs. But what about stakes?

I mosly play stakes at party 10+1 and do pretty well. But could use some advice.

I finish in the money around %50. Though 70 percent of the time i come in 3rd. When its down too first and second i rarely come in second.

I need some help in the lower blinds playing 15/30 30/60. I think i play too tight. leaving me with a smaller stake. When i am in the money.

Any advice would be appricated.

Hello Space

Welcome to the forum.

Usually, not always but usually, the problem you are having is caused by playing too tight in the middle to late stages of the tournament, not stealing enough blinds, keeping your starting-hand requirements too high when short-handed, etc. Early tight play is probably why you are cashing as frequently as you are.

But it's hard to tell without specific information. Post some hands and you can get better, more helpful advice.

Doug
