River decision
Party $50 SNG, 2nd hand.
I get A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in MP. Folded to me; I raise to 45; LP calls; all others fold. The flop comes 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] We both check The turn comes T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I bet 100; LP raises to 200; I call The river comes Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet 200; LP calls I was confused as to what I should do on the river. I didn't have much of a read on his hand at all. What do you do on the river here? |

Re: River decision
Depending on the blinds which I have to assume weren't too high, I'd have raised more preflop and bet on the flop, if he calls you after the flop you're probably behind and maybe he'll raise with a set or something and you can throw the hand away...anyways most of the time I'd check the river but I don't think your bet was bad
