Default What should i have Done

Down to two
i had 10,000 opponent 17000(appeared tightish)

anties 200-400

A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
button rasised to 800, I rerased to 2000, button called

flop 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

i bet out 2000 button rasised to 7200

i folded was this right or not

Well, I would have just called the 3x raise and see what the flop brings you. If you catch a monster flop, you can c/r him into big trouble. With this kind of flop, it's real easy to ck/fold because you have nothing to represent, no PFR image to protect.

Had the condition told me to play it the way you did (and it's possible that your play was called for), I'd have to muck it on his flop raise. You have nothing, and you have to figure that he has at least a pocket pair, or maybe even hit a set. You're not going to scare him away as his raise puts you all-in.

I choose not to put my tourney on a draw if I can avoid it. Yes, you've put a dent in your stack, but not so much that you're in "desperation call" territory. Fold is my move.

No contest. Easy check fold. I would not have made the 2K bet post flop. Good hand, missed flop, poker happens. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
