Default Two table WPT Sattelite \"Strateegery\"

I'm playing in a home game two table sattelite for a seat in a WPT event. There is only one prize...the seat. How should my strategy change from, say, a typical SNG or regular tourney.
I will assume that I'm average skill for the group (I don't know, I've never met them).

Should I be more willing to take a 50/50 to double up at any stage since there is no bubble. Is my strategy the same as a sidegame?

I think winner take all is exactly like a ring game. It's the % payouts that make this otherwise. If I am right, then that means - throw survival out the window and take any edge you can get.

Then again... perhaps if you are better shorthanded or you can get a good read on players fast, it might be worth staying alive to use those skills

Good luck
