prob of straight + flush draw?
OK, here a hand I had last night. I was wondering if I got the odds right.
I hold K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] The flop comes: [Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] So at this point, I have the normal Open-ended straight draw where I have 8 outs and get 1 - (39/47)*(38/46) = 31.5% But on the turn I get [ Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ] So now I have a flush draw along with my straight draw. Let me know if I calculated my outs right here: Four 9's will help, Four A's will help, 7 hearts will help (9 total to help me, but I have counted two already in the straight outs). So that leaves me a total of 16 outs for a probability of 16/46 = 34% chance of hitting on the river? Is this correct? Regards, -NoTalent |
