Slight change to Poker Plex monthly bonus

You used to get a $50 bonus after you were DEALT 300 hands (dealt meaning it was irrelevant whether or not they were raked and whether or not you contributed).

In November:

"Every player will have the $50 added to their POKER account (not their ECASH account) after they have completed their 250th RAKED Hand of the month!"

Emphasis is theirs not mine.

Its not a huge change and is still very worthwhile IMO. I think it may take a little under 500 dealt hands to reach.

In any event, if I state the bonus as $50, 5x rh, it looks good.

Agree, but my Oct. hands were 308 with 151 raked at 1/2 6 max. Bunch of tighties.

aren't they raked like the other cryptos (i.e. $1 rake out of a $20 pot counts as 1 raked hand)?

Nothing in the email leads me to that conclusion. They simply say a raked hand. I looked on their website and it looks like it isn't yet updated showing the T&C for the November bonus.

No. Interpoker states you need $1 in rake for a "raked hand". At PokerPlex a raked hand at 1/2 begins at $5 pot and .$.25 rake. The only requirements are that you play 1/2 limit or higher-don't know the NL table where the raked hand counts.

Also William Hill gives out 5 british pounds(apprx$8.70) for each hour of play up to 5 hours--again you have to play at 1/2 limit or above.

Dom't know about the others -have only played on the 3.

I've only just signed up today. Does that mean I can get the bonus for this month with 300 dealt hands?

yes if you finish it up before the 31st. also remember the hands must be at least $1/2 limit or 50c/$1 NL to count.

I started playing for the $50 bonus last night at 1/2 limit. I've played about 280 hands in a mix of full-ring and 6-max...and I'm up $75 without having gotten the bonus yet.

Either I'm running really well, or I've found a new site to play at...despite the lack of tables in play.

That will probably be the case for the November bonus.

<ul type="square"> A raked hand is defined as any hand where at least $1 (or £/€, depending on the table) is taken as rake. Every hand you are dealt cards and the total pot is $20 or more, a raked hand will be counted towards your bonus. You do not have to contribute to the pot for the hand to be counted as raked.

Further to this, every hand you play where between $0.25 and $0.99 (or £/€, depending on the table) rake is taken will count as 1/4 (one quarter) of a raked hand.[/list]This was in the October 27th PokerPlex newsletter/e-mail. It was for a promotion in October requiring 2000 raked hands, not the monthly bonus. However, I'd bet 5 against 1 that the new PokerPlex bonus will be a 5/4 version of the Caribbean Sun Poker bonus.

For the October $50 bonus, the 300 hands do not have to be raked.
