mcafee bookmarks MIA

Hi...

when I left the house my firefox bookmarks were in place...came back and they were gone...the wife said the power went out for a few seconds...and she didn't notice any strange screens...

I restored the computer to yesterday....but they did not show up...

any suggestions...

You could try running a program like Scandisk to see if there are any corrupted files.

I assume firefox was probably open at the time of the crash? It's pretty likely that it kept the file open and it was corrupted when the power died.
