I messed up my Start menu

So I was playing around and wanted to make the Start menu actually have stuff I would use on it. I moved the icons up trying to get them in a certain order but now they all stay above the line. I dont know how to put them back down. Oh, this is on Windows XP. Im sure I did a terrible job of explaining this but if anyone wants to help me out that would be awesome. I have this big space under the icons and its annoying. thanks

I played around some more and figured it out. I just removed them from the list and next time i opened the programs back up they were in the right spot.
