Default Dual monitor setup

I thought I would post this in its own thread.

If a video card has both a VGA and DVI slot, can two monitors be plugged in it? I was looking at some dual video cards and all I saw was one of each. When my 2001FP came today it said that I shouldnt hook a monitor in both at the same time.

I could have misread it and instead it said dont hook the SAME monitor into the DVI and VGA slot at the same time. Can anyone clarify??

Yes.

I think what they ment was not to plug both vga and dvi into the same monitor at the same time. Probably to avoid some sort of noice.
