Downloaded a movie, no sound,plz try to help

I just downloaded a movie that took forever but there is no sound. It plays fine... Is there anything i can download that i might be missing? It probably came without sound though [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

firstly, what player are you using?

try Video Lan player.

Somebody turned the main sound off on the PC. I didn't find out until after i erased it...bull
