Default How beatable are the 1/2. 2/4 Crypto games?

I have been playing online for three years and have always been a winning player. After having a horrible run trying to learn the 5/10 6max games last winter I took some time off from poker and did a casino whoring binge to build my bankroll back up. Since then I've started to get back into poker with the "always be clearing a bonus" mentality.

In 100,000 plus hands at the Party 2/4 and 3/6 and Pacific 5/10 games my winrate was about 1.3-1.5 BB per 100 hands. After 6,000 hands at the 1/2 Crypto sites I've won $3. These hands were all full ring. I know thats a small sample size but its taken several months to get that many hands specifically at Crypto.

It seems that all the whoring friendly sites (Crypto, Prima, Absolute) all play relatively the same, very weak tight with nobody wanting to put money at risk. In comparison I would rate a typical 1/2 Crypto player similar to a Party 5/10 full ring player, though less aggressive. Although breaking even is still very profitable clearing these bonuses its also very frustrating.

I'm wondering just how beatable these games are? Do the easy bonuses just create unbeatable rock gardens or do I just need to learn how to adjust to these tight games? Do you see a big difference between the Crypto and Absolute games? Could someone post significant stats or winrates on these games?

I'm wondering if I should just join the weak tight fest and purposely try to break even?

I personally find the crypto 1/2 and 2/4 games some of the easiest on the net. These games imo are up there with the party games. Table selection and game play time are your key problems.

As another poster said.. these games are no where close to the 5/10 tables at party.

Ok thats probable fair. Its been a long time since I've been in those 5/10 Party games. I do remember them being very tight though. Would you agree that the Cryptos play weak tight also? Do you have anything else to add?

In my experience the daytime games seem to be better than the evening games. Right now theres about 8 full ring 1/2 games with the average pot around $9. Pretty average and pretty tight?

I do much better at Party's 2/4 than Crypto's 1/2. Also, I never have trouble getting into a game at party w/ Ave pot size > 7-8 BB or so. As the above poster said, crypto's Ave is about 4BB and that's a good day. I think it's still probably worth it for the bonus, but it is frustrating. One things for sure, when they bet into the PFR, they have some goods... I just wish I could lay down then...

Play the six max 1/2 pound tables. The fish jump right into the boat.

I'm finding that to be true also. Quite a lot of 60+% VPIP and very little raising pf, lots of calling stations, etc. If you're playing in the daytime (U.S.) I think they're very good games.

I do better at crypto $1/2 than at party $.5/1. About 4BB/100 on crypto over the last 20,000 hands and about 2.3BB/100 at party over 25,000. So in my experience, yes they are very beatable.

It might not be good micro limit poker in general, but on these tight passive crypto tables I steal alot of blinds.

How does the rake factor into playing these, considering the max rake is almost twice as much on the GBP tables?
