Default Figureing out VP/PFR% and hand range- Advice needed!

If you are busy...
please skip to Question part, if not you may find initial part of this thread enterteining.

Hi, I recently read thisthread and got good advice.

Its worthwhile practice to spend several hours figuring out percentages like this. What percent of hands are represented by Sklansky's group 1, Group 2, etc. or if a person raises, 3%, 6%, or 10 % of all hands, what kinds of hands would that probably include.

The problem is... It is not working for me. This is suppose to be a simple math. I know I am doing something wrong. My goal is have clear image of what villians might hold based on their PFR(if pot is raised) and VP(if pot is not raised).

I got this far...
-There are 169 starting hands on holdem, which include 13 pairs/78 suited cards/ 78 off-suite.
-Possible combination of any 2 cards out of one deck is 1326 (52 X 51 / 2.)
-There are 6 combo to make a pair/ 4 to make any suited card/ and 12 to make off-suite.

So, I figured...

(6x13)+(78x4)+(78x12) should add up to 1326... AND IT DOES!!!

Oh no... It was a problem with EXCEL. I didn't use "auto-sum" properly.

Anyway, I don't think I'll erase everthing I wrote so far since it took me awhile, but I skipped to question part.

Question
Anyone knows quick way to do this while on the table? any tip, fast way to figure out? or any good thread in "Probability" forum. thanks.
