($11) QQ against a raise early on
Someone opens with a large raise, say to 150 in level 2, and both you and the raiser are still ~800. It's folded to you in mid position with QQ. I've been folding JJ here, pushing KK, and scratching my head with QQ.

it is my experience that that large of an OPEN is just as often a mid-PP, clueless as to how to proceed. i'm pushing over on this one too. for the times you find this holding, you will also receive your prompt call...where as an AK MIGHT just lay it down. "ship it - holla"...or something like that |

Re: ($11) QQ against a raise early on
I have a similar problem with Q,Q at the $22's. I figure the best way to play it, assuming you have position is to just call preflop and if no ace or king comes on the flop assume it is good.
Thats how i would play it against just 1 raiser. Against a raise and multiple callers, i might push preflop. |
