What's the cheapest I can get? The Dell Dimension 2400? It's still 496 - 75 mail in coupon.

Plus $114 shipping. My sister tried to order a Dell computer twice and they keep trying to gouge her on shipping. She's now looking at an eMachine locally from Best Buy.

this Dell 3000 is $349, including a 17 incd LCD that you could resell for $150-$200. Figure $349 + tax and shipping, minus $175 for selling the LCD, and this should be just north of $200.

Of course it depends on your minimum requirements. Have you checked out your local computer store? They usually have slightly older machines that you can have for a song and dance.
