Default New Laptop, free anti-spyware program?

The post says it all. I did a search, but couldn't come up with much. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Microsoft has a pretty good one even though its still in beta.

Just google Microsoft spyware.

Another one is Ad-Aware from Lavasoft

One I really like is X-Cleaner. Can download the file at: http://tinyurl.com/a2g9j

I'm very happy with Ad-aware, its free, seems to really keep things clean and it's free with constant def. updates.

Everyone will knock it...because knocking MS is cool...but I use their beta product.

All automatic, you don't have to do anything but download and set it up.
