Default 50% Party Bonus

Just started internet poker last week and got a message from Party that I get a deposit bonus of 50% ($100 max bonus) for 500 raked hands within 30 days.

Is this norma1? Seems generous.

Normal, they offer at least $100 every month for a redeposit, but only after $700 hands. Nearly every site has this to varying degrees.

Wow, the incompetence of Party's bonus department is amazing. Let me recap:

I get email yesterday saying I get 50% bonus on my "next deposit." So, I deposit $200 with code.

Check the cashier and nothing to reflect bonus pending. I e-mail PP. Get this: they say the 50% applies to my first deposit (my first deposit was $100; so the 50% bonus would only give me $50).

This is where it gets fun: each time I email them to say that their email said "next deposit" for the 50% bonus, they email me back saying that it applies to first deposit. So I keep emailing them questioning their intelligence and their understanding of Newtonian physics and their belief in time travel. They then respond to my emails by offering new bonuses on NEXT deposits.

So finally I receive this somewhat less cryptic email from them: "I understand that you are inquiring about XXX bonus. As correctly assumed by you this bonus is 50% upto the (max $100), which means that you will receive maximum bonus of $100. However, there is no limit on your deposit. XXX bonus is a first deposit bonus although in the promotional email it says on "next deposit", we are aware of this and it will be soon rectified. I would also like to inform you that a player will not receive bonus on every deposit he makes."

Of course I have no idea what they mean by "will be soon rectified."

It means you harrassed them enough, they actually took the time to read what they were sending you.

Well, looks like I'm not getting my 50% bonus for 2nd deposit (50% x $200). They applied it to my first first deposit (50% x $100)- what a bunch of snakes . . . they send email saying 50% on "next deposit" and then after I bite, they turn around and apply it to first deposit.

Here's the email I just received:

"With regards to your email, we regret to inform you that there is no
bonus promotions targeted to your account at this time.

However, you will be informed through the registered email address for
any new promotions."

Is this normal for Party to change the terms of the bonus offer after you act on it?
