Default Laptop speed

I know this is a really stupid question, but what is the minimum processor speed for a laptop to run 4 tables of poker, plus pt, gt, and other assorted programns? will a Intel Celeron M Processor 370 (1.5 GHz) me enough? And how much of a difference is there between different chipsets, is the Celeron line that much different than the pentium 4 line?

Thanks

The absolute minimum I would get nowadays is a Pentium M 1.5

There would be a fairly substantial difference between Pentium M and a celeron. Invest money now in the chip & display. You can upgrade HD & memory later, but you're basically stuck with both of those.

I was able to 2 table on party w/ PT & pview with no problems at all on a 1.6. I dont think party windows use a whole lot of resources, but PT & gt+ might stutter a bit when they're updating.

Get a 7200RPM harddrive.
