Did I screw up or make a good laydown?
Very first hand of my SNG so no revelant reads...
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) converter Button (t1500) Hero (t1500) BB (t1500) UTG (t1500) UTG+1 (t1500) MP1 (t1500) MP2 (t1500) MP3 (t1500) CO (t1500) Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 2 folds, MP1 calls t20, 2 folds, CO calls t20, 1 fold, Hero raises to t100, 1 fold, MP1 calls t80, CO folds. Flop: (t240) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets t170, MP1 raises to t640, Hero calls t470. Turn: (t1520) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, MP1 bets t760 (All-In), Hero ??? I'm thinking I possibly should have pushed on the flop, but his raise seemed weird to me. Is folding too weak here? I figured I'd call him down hoping he'd keep betting KQ or AK, but the Q made me think the only hand I could possibly be ahead of was AK. |

Re: Did I screw up or make a good laydown?
I'd call the all in on the turn, you are pot stuck and you have outs to a better two pair than villaim may have.
But yah, push back him on the flop and if he has a set or KJ you bust. It sucks and it happens but at lower limits youll stack off to many ppl to fold AA with action HU. |

3 bet the flop if you plan on laying this down at any point.
Easy, easy call. |

Re: Did I screw up or make a good laydown?
I'd rather get my money in as a likely favorite on the flop, so I am probably pushing there as opposed to the tough decision you now have. And I'm probably still not making the laydown on the turn.
