Default Videos automatically play on my 2nd monitor please help!

Whenever I open a video file, it plays full screen on the secondary monitor (2001FP). If I minimize it on the primary monitor, it freezes on the secondary one. I also can't see the mouse on the secondary monitor while the movie is playing. This problem only occurs with video files so I'm wondering if it can be fixed. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i am computer illiterate but heres an idea. disconnect the second monitor. disable any second monitor stuff in your window settings. do the video thing on the first monitor until its correct. hook up second monitor and adjust any second monitor settings.

This has to do with overlay settings. Rightclick on your desktop, chose properties, then settings, then advanced. Look around for the setting. Many people prefer to have this setting, so it might be the default in the drivers.
