Default I\'m prepared - what about you?

I've been stocking up on essentials in the event some terrorist decides to bio-slime the city in which I live. I'm figuring supplies for three days should be enough. The essentials include -

1.Flashlight
2.Radio
3.Lots of batteries
4.Smoked trout
5.Bombay Sapphire http://www.bombaysapphire.com/
6.Bombay Sapphire
7.Olives
8.some cans of pate fois (an American brand, I assure you)
9.fromage de chevre (ditto the above)
10.Bombay Sapphire
11.an ascot
12.two books - "Sometimes A Great Notion" by Ken Kesey and "Invisible Cities" by Italo Calvino.
13.ice

That should do it.

I really don't think you should skimp on the Bombay Sapphire.

I have enough Met-Rx, Myoplex and Nitro-Tech shakes to live on exclusively for a month at least. Also about 50 cans of tuna and salmon, two jars of olives, 10 bags of dry mixed beans and rice, and a crock-pot;-)

I didn't add anything due to the homeland security warnings--and my stock of the above supplies is down from last month by about 30% because GNC didn't have my favorite shakes on sale during Gold Card Days this month.

Enough good reading and study material I've never gotten to to last a year at least.

dont forget extra underware. why,-- because the water supply may be destroyed and you wont be doing any laundry, or drinking.

Hence the ascot Ray. It makes one feel, je ne c'est quoi...dressed, even when otherwise stark naked.

I really don't understand how you plan to enjoy your Saphire without vermouth or at least tonic water. bio-slime is no reason to slum it.
