Default Fashion sense and the Great American Sport

Now as we all know, I, Dave in Cali, am a somewhat "flambouyant" individual. I ain't afraid of squat, especially not when it comes to fashion. So this here is a short quiz to see just how far someone might go in the name of fashion, and to see just how much success at the "Great American Sport" you might expect each of these outfits might afford someone gutsy (or moronic) enough to wear them…

Your task is to decide:

A. Which of these outfits I have actually worn out in public.

B. Which of these outfits got the me the most attention from the Ladies.

C. Which locations have I actually worn these outfits.

D. Which of these outfits YOU would wear out in public.

As for question #3, the choices of location are as follows:

A gothic-industrial-fetish nightclub

A normal everyday middle of the road techno kinda nightclub.

A normal everyday middle of the road kinda hip type of coffee house right in the middle of Hillcrest.

Parading through the Mirage poker room and various location in Las Vegas, including the MGM Grand.

And now… The outfits.

1. Black vinyl pants, a studded leather belt and studded leather wristbands, a metallic red glitter shirt, black platform shoes, red sunglasses, and a full-length, midevil designed, black satin on the outside, red velvet on the inside CAPE…

2. A triple-chain chest harness with spiky shoulder pads and matching arm gauntlets (spikes about 1 ½'' long) over a black mesh shirt, with chaps and leather underwear with a snap-on fly, platform shoes and small intellectual looking orange sunglasses, plus red hair and a spiked collar with a leather leash…

3. Baby blue velvet bell bottoms with a white furry vest, plus a white fuzzy hat with black polka dots and matching sunglasses, with platforms…

4. Red, orange, yellow, blue, and purple diamond pattern tight fitting velore pants, with a Christmas tree tinsel jacket, plus purple heart shaped glitter sunglasses and platforms…

Answers:

Question A: I have worn ALL of these outfits out in public.

Question B: Outfits number 3 and 4 got me the MOST attention from the ladies, though ALL the outfits got me a whole bunch of attention…

Question C:

Outfit #1 I have worn in ALL those locations.

Outfit #2 I have worn in the first THREE locations.

Outfits #3 and #4 I have only worn in Gothic industrial fetish nightclubs. (#4 was for the Sabbat Valentine's day Masquerade Ball)

When I wore outfits #3 and #4, I had to tie on a couple before I could leave the house, so I took a cab. Also, I was PRAYING that the cab didn't get pulled over by the police on the way to the club. "Use your GUNS men!!!"

FEAR is for the WEAK! If you are comfortable with yourself, you should have nothing to fear, even if you go out on the town dressed like some kind of freak!

By the way, outfit #2 can be seen at this link: http://www.clubsabbat.net/photos/patrons/patrons17.jpg

I can also be seen at the following link, acting as the personal slave of Dita von Teese, Fetish model and Playboy model (Ooo la la, she was a sweetie too!)

I am the guy on the left, the skinny one…

Hope you enjoyed my moronic-ness. As always, I won't run out of it in the future.

P.S. Will this post get me "banned for life" from "The Club"?

Sorry Dave, but I believe I've seen Elton John in these outfits one time or another over the years. I think Elton was trying to impress the boys not the ladies. Oh well to each his own.

The internet is absolutely amazing. A quick click on a link and in less than ten seconds we're off of the Information Superhighway and down the exit to TMFI Drive....

if you are a little bit disturbed now, that means that my mission was successful. I wouldn't want everyone living in their perfect little worlds for too long without having something shake them up a little. After all, no one should be THAT content that everything is exactly as they think it should be!
