how do i adjust gamma?

hi, how can i adjust gamma or brightness on xp i have my monitors brightness on 100% and its not bright enough, i used to have windows 98 and i could go desktop properties gamma advanced and adjust there but i cant on xp can anyone help? thanks.

IIRC, the gamma adjust was part of the device driver or an associated utlity, not the OS. Check your video manufacturer's website for an anhanced driver or halper app.
