Default losing sound

I have been losing sound, happened twice today, I think its a memory issue. Even though I Have tons, GamesGrid is a complete hog and I think its the problem.

Could you be more specific? Does sound just crap out sometimes for a few seconds or shut off for hours? Does it only happen when you have games grid open? Some elaboration would be helpful.

It goes out completely. I have to restart to get it back. I believe it is an issue with memory. I 10-12 table and use PT and PV.

I'm assuming you're using windows XP. Check out Control Panel->Adminstrative Tools->Event Viewer then check under Applications for errors as well as system. Let me know what you find.

I got both of these yesterday. The time matches up to when I lost sound I believe.

From a little bit of googling.

Filename: RegCon.exe
Name: SAClient

Description: AT&T or ComCast BBClient - monitors system and network-delivered services for availability. Your current network status is displayed on a color-coded web page in near-real time. When problems are detected, you're immediately notified by e-mail, pager, or text messaging

If you don't use this i would suggest uninstalling it and see if that helps your problem or if you use/like it check out your ISP's homepage for an updated version. Let me know if this works for you.
