Default swearing too much

I made a poorly timed usage of the f word this morning, and now have to fix the situation. Then today while thinking about my posts, I realized that i cannot go long without some sort of obscenity. Is this common place, or am I really just a foul mouthed bastard? For those that do partake in the delights of [censored] [censored] [censored] and other words, how long do you think you could go without swearing?

I used to have this problem accidentally letting a swear word slip during games/practices in sports. There's sports where you can get away with this, I didn't play any of those. Basketball, track, and Volleyball this is a reprimandable offense in all these sports, so I had to break the habit.

It sounds lame but I just trained myself to say something else instead. F*ck became fudge and sh!t became sugar. This helps me now in my coaching jobs too where it wouldn't be looked too highly upon by parents if I'm swearing up a storm in front of their kids.

swearing does not [censored] exist. It is ridiculouas to think that certain words are some how "worse" than others. All words are a collection of sounds used to communicate thoughts. Nothing more nothing less. "cussing" is some stupid [censored] figment of some stupid [censored] grade school teacher.

I think my favorite "alternate swear" that I've heard was "Mother father!"
