Great Speech, Mr. President!

I was a little critical of our president's first address to the nation following the attacks, but I think he delivered a great speech tonight. Though I know he probably did not write much of it himself, I am impressed (and surprised) by his excellent performance.


BTW, I am not saying that I was happy with every line of the speech (but pretty close). For example, I'm always a bit uncomfortable when parties to a conflict claim to have God on their side. At least the President did so in an eloquent manner.

I'm pretty sure God is on our side. I'm a catholic, and a lousy one at that. But I can't see God condoning the slaughter of over 6,000 innocent civilians. Can you? Maybe the TALIBAN can, and that's why I'm going to shoot them dead. Then they can go to hell, and ask where their God is!!!!


How's that for some harsh RHETORIC!!! Screw all scumbags who try to destroy our way of life! How are the games in Vegas!! Not good I'll bet!
