concert review

went to see Megadeth at the Fillmore on Friday night. Crowd was an interesting mix of aging metalheads and youngsters who came to see one of the classic metal bands. The opening act was a band called Endo. bunch of surf punks from Florida. They totally sucked. things got ugly for a minute when a crowd member said something not nice to the lead singer. Peace was restored and the band played on, unfortunately.


finally it was Megadeth's turn and everything was nice again. Dave Mustaine still rocks and showed he is one of the rockers with actual musical talent. Although I liked the second half of the show there was definitely a low energy level due to the disaster on 9-11.
