Default The Changing of the Guard

Peter Jennings showed it tonight. For the first time in history, during the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, there was something different from the regular routine. The Royal Band played the Star Spangled Banner while Prime Minister Tony Blair and Prince Andrew looked on. There were hundreds of onlookers. Most were in tears. A huge ovation was given at the conclusion of the Anthem. It was very moving to see.

I am not a big fan of our present President. But one thing he said is most powerfully true: the obscene atrocity inflicted upon us has given the world unprecedented impetus to ELIMINATE global terrorism with total finality. We needn't equivocate, we needn?t explain; just identify and extirpate. I want them all dead and quickly. And so does everyone else.
