ABSOLUTELY. UTG knows his money is going in either on this hand or the next. Meaning his pushing requirements should include all top 50% hands. A6o beats the majority of top 50% hands and BB can't call without a premium hand after you come over the top..

I think the better question is, 'Should I be pushing this?'

The answer would be, 'yes!'

Hrm, seems people like to push this. Why? Is there another thread that can be linked which elaborates on this? Is your goal to move up in chips, so when bubble bursts you're in contention for a W?

If u win, u have 2100 chips, but if u lose you're at 900. Is it okay to have ~850 because u know u HAVE to push any 2 the very next hand, into current shortstack's BB? What is the

The problem with calling is that the big stack has superior position to you on the flop....and can exploit your call very easily (and unknowingly).

Oh, you also have tons of FE vs. the calling big stack pre-flop - if he wants to play his hand for a significant portion of his stack he'll raise - so it's better to just push anyway for that reason.

I think Lorinda had a good devil's advocate post to the "playing for first" theory recently. Don't know if it applies here, but I like folding this. FE is everything, right?
