QQ in the bubble
He had aces, which held up. Short stack must have been salivating, but i have a poor ratio of thirds and seconds to firsts, and figured this was an obvious spot to gamble. Thoughts?

Given the overlay in the pot and the fact that shorty still has 7xBB, I think you're happy against anything including AKs. You're especially happy since BB most likely called w/ Ax, killing one the button's cards if he's moving all-in w/ big slick.
Given that, the only hands you fear are AA and KK. If Villain has those hands, you type 'nh' and open up another SNG. I think the raise from the SB is fine. You don't want to completely kill action w/ QQ on the bubble . . . |
