Default How many outs?

That game is 7 Stud, low in the hole is wild, role your own with jokers. Say you have 10-Joker down. And the board is 10s-Kc-8h-4d. The last card will be face up. How many outs are there to improve upon the 4 kings that you already have.

Default Re: How many outs?

I'll give it a shot:

It depends on how you use wilds...

Assuming wilds can be used to fill straight flushes in truly bizarre and liberal ways. If this isn't the case, this should get you started on the real answer:

2 Aces = Ah Ac = Quad Aces (As Ad give str flush)
3 Kings = 5 Kings
2 Tens = 5 Kings
1 Joker (unless you only have 1 in the deck) = 5 Kings

7 = As Qs Js 9s 8s 7s 6s = Str flush
7 = Qh Jh 9h 7h 6h 5h 4h = Str Flush
7 = 8d 7d 6d 5d 3d 2d Ad = Str Flush

= 29 outs with 2 jokers.

Anybody catch anything else? Did I double count anything?
