If you're not using a converter of some kind, at least add the [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] symbols to the cards in your hand and the board...

You other posters are just spoiled. These hand histories are not hard to read if you ever review your own.

Whenever you have raised preflop with AAxx and a flop comes with two high straight cards in a multiway pot, someone will often be slowplaying a set and more often someone will have two pair, so unless your sidecards hit with some kind of draw it is often better to check and not escalate the pot. In hand #1 you were presumably relying on holding the naked ace to be able to make a play if the flush came, though on the $25 tables it is wishful thinking to believe someone will fold a ten high flush. In hand #2 though you actually got a very good flop with one high card and two rags and no straight draws unless the opponent had something like 6543. So unless your opponent in this headsup pot is known for slowplaying sets, I would have either bet the pot again to prevent his making two pair assuming he would call with one pair on the flop (something like AJT9), or I would have check/called. Even if he had J8 and thus made two pair, you have a gutshot to admittedly the bad end of a straight, and if the board pairs low that often will win the pot. Again this all depends on whether you have a read on how this opponent plays various types of hands.

You're not at all worried about the flush in hand 2?

A lot of this depends on how the table has been playing. In bigger games often people will be able to put you on the AA and try to take the pot away from you on the flop if it doesn't look like it hit you. But then there are also a lot of times when I can bet the pot after raising preflop and everyone will just fold unless they have actually hit something good. My impression is that at the smallest limits that won't work because people will call with bad draws and such, but I don't think it is necessarily a mistake to come out firing on the flop. Just don't do any calling without hitting something.

I think you made a good fold on hand 2.

I apologize. After saying these hand histories are not hard to read (I still don't think they are), I admit I missed that.

They are unpleasant to read. He is asking for people's help, the least he could do inreturn is present the hands in a way that is easy on the eye. He doesn;t have to, but he shouldn;t expect as much feedback then as he would otherwise get.

Hand #2 - Your AAxx hand is very weak.

You are in the BB.

This has been an unraised, multi way pot so far.

CHECK.

IF you bet big - you are announcing to the world you have aces.

If you bet small like you did - you don't drive anyone out, now you have a bad AA hand, out of position, and no idea what flop will help/hurt someone.
