Fold Equity
I am somewhat new to these forums but been playing poker for a while. I feel somewhat confident in my game but obviously looking to improve. I am playing 11 SG on party regularly. Doing well, only play one at a time and am only up to 75 so far so I know its a small sample.
I have read a lot about Fold Equity in people's posts and was hoping a few of you could help explain it. From reading it I think I already understand it a bit, but am looking for a textbook explanation (so to speak). Thanks. |

Re: Fold Equity
The equity you gain from the chance your opponant(s) will fold to your bet.
example If your bet has a 50% chance of making all opponants fold and there are 100 chips in the pot. Your bet has a fold equity of 50 chips. |
