Default Online trading pat on back (eBay)..... low content + SYMC trade

I woke up this morning and saw eBay falling apart...... so I pulled up a quote and liked the Feb 85 puts @$3.10. So, I bought 5. I closed the screen and went to check my mail. I then forgot that I wanted to check something else on the broker site so I signed back on...... less than 10 minutes later and they were quoted 5.20-5.40...... hmmmm .
SO I figured I like a quickie as well as the next guy, SO I put in to sell at $5.20 and the bid dropped..... I got out at $5 ......... $900 in 10 minutes...... I am such a WHORE!!

BTW, I bot SYMC (symantec--The Norton AntiVirus guys) today.
I did this for 2 reasons:
1)I just downloaded Zone labs, and hated it compared to Norton Internet security
2)All you hear about these days is internet security issues (read the zoo)...
Got in at $24.15, looking to sell April $25 calls @ $2.15

Im thinking of averaging down on SYMC, have a trade in on SIRI (bot 1000 for a trade pre-market yesterday, but Im afraid to hold it over night tonight as they have earnings Wed at 8am.)that has my money tied up till the close. Ill see what happens in the AM

BTW....... Kudos to optionsXpress.com. I had the MOC order in to sell SIRI and it was 6.23-6.24 as I watched it close, and I got filled at 6.25......NICE

Death Valley,

What do you expect the stock to do when earnings come out tomorrow?

I help onto my shares until the market closed today but was thinking of reversing my position on open tomorrow.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I wish I knew what the stock would do, I must admit I really have no clue. I have sold calls against almost all my shares, so Im pretty much hedged, that being said Id do best if the stock goes up. There is of course the strong possibility of a $1+ move, Im just not sure which way
