Default GOOD books on math for poker

I know this isn't the books forum, but I also figured those of you who populate this section of the site would have more insight into this question... So, are there any good books out there for learning the math involved in poker? I don't mean simple things like calculating odds based on outs. I am just interested in learning more about this topic and was curious if anyone knew of a good resource.

Have you ever heard of- "The Mathematics of Games and Gambling" by Edward Packel

or "Taking Chances: Winning with Probability" John Haigh

any other suggestions?

"Hold'em's Odds Book" is the standard text.

"The Mathematics of Games and Gambling" received a favorable review by Mason.

I would recommend "Texas Hold'em Odds", by Catalin Barboianu, holding all the math behind the game and all odds involved, with calculus descriptions and explanations. I got it from www.probability.go.ro/page8.html .

I like both of your suggestions. For a bit more general, and good reading as well try "The bell curve".
