Default TIVO

Well I sold that siri today and booked some nice profits. I hate being without a stock so I jumped right into Tivo. Anybody have any opinions on this stock? It is similar to siri as in they are working for monthly subscribers for about the same amount of money, only tivo has a market cap of 400 mil. They are in a lawsuit against echostar over patenet infringments on dvr's. The concesus on the street seems to be against tivo saying they won't make it. Thinkin I'll take a chance, because if they do, this sucker is gonna fly. Just don't know if there's anyway they can do it.

While I love Tivo and use it daily........ their technology was not patent protected well enough and many cable companies now offer their own DVRs for half the monthly fee of TIVO. I have mine through DirecTv so I only pay $5 a month, but $12 a month is too much for non DTV customers. IMHO they have seen their highs a long time ago

Try SBUX .......... millions of addicts across the world!

I wouldn't touch SBUX though I'd love to get in on a dip. It's overpriced, imho! - Tony
