Another Wall Street Scam?

Several analysts made hyping Circuit City (CC) earlier this week I believe or it may have been late last week. I found that to be rather strange since it seems fairly obvious that CC has been losing market share to competitors for a long time. Today CC came out with an earnings warning and news about spinning off one of their businesses. The stock is down $7 a share from $23+ to $16+. I have a hard time believing that the analysts didn't know something was up.
