Default \"We\'ve come a long way baby\".....

When you turn on the T.V. and see poker being shown on four seperate channels, makes you think you've finally arrived.

Now the next question is...when will the bottom fall out?

I noticed that tonight.... scared the hell out of me. It is getting to the point where I'd rather watch hockey than poker.

The bottom will never fall out. There will always be fish. Every year, the young-guns who have been waiting for live action are gonna step out of the wood-work, and every year the aging pro will lose a step.

Yes, there will always be fish, etc. But if you believe there will always be the number of fish there are now you're in for a rude awakening. This insane popularity is temporary. It's a bubble. This will peak soon, if it hasn't already. The next big fad will take over and they'll all be spending their leisure time with the next Rubik's cube.

All this from a fan of a team that's win/loss record to date is 2-4?

Husker's 4-2 record isn't steller by any means and we did suffer a good beating by Texas Tech, but a first year coach with an entirely new system gets just a little relief....for the time being. It can be tough to come into a program that has only had 3 seasons out of the last forty years where they haven't won at least nine games.(387-78-3 since '64)

Hang in there, your Lions will bounce back...it's been a good program for too long.

Well as a Husker who has lived here in Texas "behind enemy lines" for almost 20 years this doesn't surprise me.

I almost went to UT but chose TCU instead.....guess that makes me a "Horny Husker".
